Eurogamer.net: May 13, 2020 at 08:17AM - In Mortal Kombat 11, RoboCop enlists the help of ED-209

NetherRealm has offered us a good look at Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath gameplay, including new DLC character RoboCop.

The video shows one of RoboCop's fatalities, which calls in that good doggy robot ED-209 for some twin mini-gun action. Meanwhile, RoboCop, whose voice and likeness comes from actor Peter Weller, shoots his enemy to bits with the Cobra Assault Cannon, which RoboCop film fans will remember Clarence using to blow up poor Joe's car.

There are some fun nods to the films in the gameplay. We see RoboCop blowing the hand off the Joker - a clear reference to RoboCop's infamous "give the man a hand" torture scene. And what's that? Oh, RoboCop's not targeting there, is he? Oh. He is. Poor Baraka.

Eurogamer.net: November 22, 2019 at 01:49AM - In Mortal Kombat 11, Sindel's new fatality will make you scream

Mortal Kombat 11 gets Sindel on Tuesday, 26th November as a DLC character, and developer NetherRealm has shown off her hair-raising new moves.

In the video below, NetherRealm's Tyler Lansdown and Stephanie Brownback run through the Queen of Edenia's new moveset. In Mortal Kombat 11, Sindel is a mix-up character, whereas in Mortal Kombat 9 she was very much a zoning character. She incorporates her deadly hair into many of her moves, such as her throws, and her scream is back in various forms. Of note, her bladed staff from 2004's Mortal Kombat Deception is back (you can see it on her hip). This was last seen in 2006's Mortal Kombat Armageddon, and is used in Mortal Kombat 11 in a number of moves.

Anyway, onto the good stuff. Sindel's fatalities lean heavily on her scream and hair. Here's fatality number one:
