You can get your hands (and feet) on the stylish yet simplistic brawler One Finger Death Punch 2 right now. Check out the demo that’s live now.
It feels like it’s been forever since we heard that One Finger Death Punch 2 has been announced. Well, only about a year, really. The title is headed steadfastly for a 15 April release date, which is only 2 months away. You can grab yourself a slice of the mad brawling right now, though. Developer Silver Dollar Games has released a demo for the game, which you can play on Steam right now.
To play it, head over to the Steam page and clickety on the “Download Demo” button in the right-hand-side section.
There’s also a new trailer out to celebrate the demo launch. Have a look below:
Like the first game, One Finger Death Punch 2 is a singleplayer brawler in which you use exactly two buttons to fight foes attacking you from the left and right. It seems simple enough, but quickly gets manic hard, making it somewhere between a brawler and an intense rhythm game.
The full version of One Finger Death Punch 2 will include over 400 levels and 26 skills. While the original game limited you to using any 5 skills at once, the sequel takes off the limitation and you can enable all 26 skills at once if you so desire.
The first game released in 2014 on Steam, and has a 98% positive review score from nearly 11,000 user reviews. It’s not terribly expensive, so you can have a go at it if you’d like to further scratch any itches the newer game’s demo might give you.

For more rampant violence, but with an ape, consider Ape Out, which releases later this month. Also consider the Norse-themed actioner Fimbul.
